Aug 16, 2017

When you get to Six Flags America, 15 minutes from Washington, D.C., and 40 minutes outside of Baltimore, Maryland, the first thing you’ll notice from the parking lot is the 240-foot-tall WONDER WOMAN Lasso of Truth extreme swing ride. Named after the world’s most iconic female DC Super Hero, the 24-story-tall towering attraction will whisk riders around a 98-foot circle at speeds of 40 miles per hour.

That’s not all you’ll get at the 170-acre theme and water park that boasts more than 100 rides, shows and attractions. Thrill seekers will enjoy 10 coasters, including SUPERMAN: Ride of Steel, BATWING and The Wild One. Hurricane Harbor features Hurricane Bay, Maryland’s largest wave pool; 14 wet and wild attractions, including Bonzai Pipelines, a six-story drop waterslide; and Splashwater Falls, a multilevel water play attraction with a giant tipping bucket.
