The weather outside may be frightful, but New York City Broadway is delightful!
If your groups are visiting NYC while the snow flies, consider these winter travel tips for the best experience.
Book in advance and know how to cancel.
You already know to book your show tickets ahead of time with Broadway Inbound, but what about restaurants and attractions? Be sure to reserve your table and other activities in advance, if you can, and find out about cancelation policies.
Check the weather.
This one is so easy. Winter weather can be unpredictable, so it’s best to check early and often—then plan accordingly. In addition to helping you organize your activities and bundle up, you’ll know if you need to leave extra time to get to the theater.
Protect your health.
How many times have you heard about someone catching a cold on a flight? Stay hydrated and nourished, and wash your hands often. That last one’s also a good tip if you’re using the subway.
Call Broadway Inbound.
Our team knows what’s going on: If you have any questions, give them a call at 866.302.0995. And we can assist you when winter weather strikes. If you bought tickets to one of the shows with a Winter Weather Guarantee (see below), we’ll help you exchange them for another performance.
Consider shows with a “Winter Weather Guarantee.”
No need to worry about snow with these shows! If your group can’t make a performance due to winter weather—between January 8, 2018, and March 28, 2018—your group tickets may be exchanged for any other performance currently on sale, pending availability. Policies vary by show, and many require you to notify the box office by noon the day of the performance.
