One World Observatory offers unique panoramic views of New York City, its most iconic sites and surrounding waters from a 1,250-foot (381 meter) vantage point. Students embark on a thrilling 47-second ascent in the SkyPod elevators with illustrations taking them through New York City’s vast history. Before encountering the awe-inspiring reveal from the 102nd floor, the See Forever Theatre depicts the sights and sounds of today’s New York City.

The SkyPortal displays a real-time look to the city streets below, showcasing the true height of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. One World Explorer iPad, the observatory’s digital skyline guide, offers students a self-guided tour of New York’s most iconic sites and beyond. CityPulse, a live interactive showcase, draws students into the city’s history and traditions. The observatory’s Tour Ambassadors have more than 75 topics to discuss and present twice each hour. At any point during their visit, students can connect with one of the circulating Observatory Ambassadors for more information.
