Cedar Fair
Students have too much fun to even realize they’re learning through Cedar Fair’s youth programs. Each park transforms into your own interactive, state-of-the-art classroom during Education Days, covering marketing, engineering, science, math, physics, hospitality, and more.
New coasters and adventures abound! Via world record-setting Yukon Striker at Canada’s Wonderland, the double-launch Copperhead Strike at Carowinds, or interactive encounters in Forbidden Frontier on Adventure Island at Cedar Point, one-of-a-kind thrills help take education to new heights.
Broadway Classroom
Enjoy unique arts and undeniably authentic educational experiences by combining a Broadway trip with an interactive workshop. Students are taught by Broadway performers or qualified Teaching Artists and rehearse in actual Broadway studios.
Students entering the performing arts may gravitate toward Broadway 101. Those looking to hone a specific skill could explore workshops such as The Art of the Quick Change, Stage Makeup and Making Music. Youth wanting to one day see their name in lights could experience the Broadway audition process through the Open Call workshop, followed by a Q&A with a Broadway performer.
Through more than a dozen workshops, there’s plenty of fun and chances for students to exit with boosted confidence in their performing capabilities.
U.S. Space and Rocket Center
Space Camp provides a platform for personal growth and development, and teaching curriculum that includes cutting-edge training and missions based on current initiatives of NASA and private-sector space companies. Students could experience things astronauts do in their space exploration journey—and even meet astronauts and legendary historical figures. Perhaps one of your students could go on to join the 10 Space Camp graduates who’ve become astronauts since the camp began in 1982! Robotics, aviation and cyber security camps round out students’ options.
Busch Gardens
In Williamsburg, Virginia, students of all ages could experience the thrills of science and technology in a real-world setting, thanks to Coasters 101 and a behind-the-scenes look at what makes the park’s roller coasters work. The exhilarating Wolf Encounter provides a closer look at this misunderstood animal, the importance wolves play in the wild and how we can help them survive.
Junior Zookeepers Day Camp in Tampa Bay, Florida, offers a glimpse into the professional world of animal care as students learn about animal nutrition, watch training sessions, and meet zookeepers and veterinary staff throughout the week. Younger students attending Super Sleuths Day Camp could search for evidence and decipher clues to solve the ultimate Busch Gardens mystery.
Steamtown National Historic Site
The STEAM-based Railroads, Rivers and You! in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, explores the region’s railroading history and its environmental impact. Students could role-play being a track maintenance crew and conduct train wheel and track measurements before hiking to the Lackawanna River to sample water quality and search for living organisms.
Disney Theatrical and Disney Youth Programs
In New York, students could become part of the show with an exclusive, interactive Disney Broadway Workshop. Led by expert Disney Teaching Artists, 90-minute workshops allow students to explore all aspects of theater, through the Disney on Broadway lens. Via puppetry from The Lion King, songs from Frozen or choreography from Aladdin, students will leave inspired!
Disney Youth Programs at Disneyland and Walt Disney World resorts spark creativity and unlock potential. Whether students gear up their imaginations with Kingdom Keepers Quests, explore guided field studies in applied sciences and environmental studies, or take workshops focused on careers in costuming, the magic of Disney helps create one-of-a-kind learning moments.
